A week ago I tweeted a friend recommending a diet pill but deleted it an hour later. I had no idea that during that period, I would get so many e-mails asking me about it!
Before I give out any information let me start by dishing out the obvious truth we choose to ignore, because we are lazy human beings always looking for the easy way out: You can’t lose weight without controlling food in-take and doing SOME sort of exercise! I personally don’t believe in diets whatsoever and crash dieting or starving yourself, will only result in a big-ass weight rebound when you stop or go back to eating normally. Don’t deprive yourself of anything, if you feel like having a cupcake take a few bites instead of devouring the whole thing. I have whatever I want in moderation and never skip breakfast. My rule used to be more protein and less carbs, but I’m a Vegetarian now (It was a choice I made a month ago after watching videos of what goes on in farms and that things labeled as halal/kosher really aren’t, I love animals and the videos were gruesome and I couldn’t look at meat the same anymore) so I try to have less carbs in general and take a lot of vitamins. I’m not a tiny-meals-throughout-the-day kind of girl, so I just skip snacks instead.
I DESPISE exercise. Despise is putting it lightly, actually. I hate the gym and even the word gym gives me a headache (not really, but I HATE IT), so I decided to try a mixture of Yoga/Pilates & that is about the only thing I can stand and actually enjoy. All the “let’s make exercise fun” crap is nonsense to me. It is not fun to me and it never will be. I enjoy Pilates/Yoga and I actually feel lighter after every session. Going to the gym makes me hungry and I would rather not snack on a handful of tasteless almonds after the session, so I threw gym-ing out the window. Believe it or not, I actually gained weight from going to the gym (and no, not muscle, I just gained in general). I also don’t weigh myself. I am an obsessive person and weighing myself only causes me to obsess over my weight, so I use my clothes and mirror as my guide. If I like what I see, I know something is working. Ok, enough nonsense on my issues and dislikes because it is a never-ending list…
I was very reluctant on whether I should blog about the pill or not. People tend to abuse diet pills and they’re usually very unhealthy. Remember, nothing will work if you are not willing to lose weight. You have to contribute and put in a bit of effort. If you have bad side-effects from taking the pill, it is NOT, I repeat, NOT MY FAULT. You’re responsible for your actions and I recommend consulting a professional before taking anything! Now that I got that out-of-the-way, this is the pill:
It’s called Slimming Capsule and this is what the pill looks like. You can order them online or in any herbal store in Bahrain. It’s supposed to be herbal but I doubt it’s 100% natural because there are a few unwanted side-effects. Effects are not the same with each person but I experienced slight dizziness the first few days and was a bit thirstier than usual – that is all. It seriously suppressed my appetite but not in an unhealthy way, I still felt hungry but was full almost halfway through the meal. I didn’t crave sweets as much and didn’t snack at all.
You can’t take this if you don’t contribute to your weight loss plan. This won’t do ALL the work but it will really help! I know weight loss pills are frowned upon and dietitians and nutritionists don’t recommend them, but this worked for me and I didn’t rebound (mainly because I lead a healthier lifestyle and don’t crash diet) so I don’t care what so-called “experts” say. Plus, since when have I ever listened to advice? Lol.
If you’re planning on trying this please be careful and if anything happens, I will feel bad but it won’t be my problem (that sounded a bit harsh..), so take it responsibly and follow the instructions. Never exceed the recommended amount, it won’t work better you’ll just end up damaging your body. Unhealthy diets cause hair-loss, dull skin and acne – all of which are big NO-NO’s in my book. Hope this helped!
